Dormer Bungalow Re-invention

Our bold and imaginative clients took on a project to totally reinvent and renovate this run down dormer bungalow, set in a beautiful leafy plot in South Nottinghamshire. Fade gave advice on the technology options and then designed and installed a cabling infrastructure, giving access to TV, Satellite, Data and Music services throughout the house, whilst also ‘future-proofing’ for things which have not yet been invented.

The homeowners were delighted with our service and support:-

“Throughout this long and challenging home building project, Fade turned up when they said they would, every time, and did what they promised, every time. Thank you so much to Michael and his team.” - Mr DH

What's special about this project:-

  • All the electronics (apart from Televisions of course!) are stored out of sight in a hallway cupboard, keeping the living areas clean and wire-free

  • All video sources (Apple TV, Humax, Bluray) are watchable on all 3 TV's + the Home Cinema, using a Blustream HDMI matrix system. Remote control works from every room

  • For the Home Cinema in the snug, we installed a 5.1 channel surround sound speaker system together with an electric cinema screen which retracts into the ceiling when not in use, a BenQ 1080P projector and a Denon AV Receiver. A programmable logitech remote provides simple control

  • Multiple wireless access points give a rock solid wifi connection throughout the home and in the separate home office

  • A Sonos music system provides radio and music via the Sonance ceiling recessed speakers in the kitchen and dining rooms

  • A DSC Power series alarm provides rock solid security. The homeowners are notified immediately on their smartphones if the alarm is triggered
