East Hertfordshire Open Plan Bungalow
Introduced to this project in November 2018, Fade continues to add Audio Visual components as and when the building and the homeowners are ready. With some data cabling originally installed by the electricians, Fade was asked to come in, assess what was already in place then finish off the job. Within a week of meeting the homeowners, we had planned and installed 2 kilometres of data and speaker cabling, allowing the builders to continue plasterboarding the walls and ceilings.
We have subsequently installed TV, music and wifi systems throughout, with all equipment hidden away in an IT cabinet. As of October 2020, we are now in the process of rolling out music and a projector system in the garden.
What's special about this project:
-
We have installed a Neo 8a TV matrix system from UK manufacturer Pulse 8, allowing the homeowners to watch Sky TV and view their CCTV cameras on any of their 8 TVs.
-
Switching on the TV, changing the volume and navigating around Sky Q is all handled from a single remote controller in each room.
-
Sonos provides music listening in each room. We have linked it to Amazon Alexa giving simple voice control.
-
In the lounge, there is a Dolby Atmos sound system, made up of Monitor Audio soundbar and in-ceiling speakers. To avoid cluttering the floor we have installed 2 Monitor Audio in-wall subwoofers to provide the deep base when watching movies on the large OLED Sony TV.
-
Strong wifi throughout is provided by Ubiquiti wifi access points.
